One of a kind, Rare US Confederate #1 on U10 (Die 5) cover, 1861

A very unique Confederate States of America 1861 five-cent green depicting Jefferson Davis, Scott #1, placed over a US issued U10, which might have been unusable for the Confederacy at the time. The stamp is imperforate as issued, with margins clear on the sides and just touching in spots. A genuine early Confederate issue in used condition, presented on piece with the associated wrapper fragment.
