1933 US 50c Green Graf Zeppelin Scott #C18 MLH

United States 1933 50-cent green air mail issue from the Century of Progress Flight set, depicting the Graf Zeppelin (LZ127) over Chicago with the Federal Building at left and the airship hangar at right. This is Scott #C18, mint lightly hinged, with good color and clear impression. A key stamp from the short-lived 1933 Zeppelin set, issued to frank mail carried on the Chicago World's Fair flight. A beautiful stamp in the sought-after Zeppelin series
