Classic 1869 Pictorial Issue 12-cent green depicting the S.S. Adriatic, Scott #117. This is one of the iconic stamps from the first US pictorial series. The stamp shows a light red cancel with the green vignette clearly printed, perforations intact on all sides. Centering is fine to very fine with margins reasonably balanced. A desirable stamp from this popular 19th-century series.
